Lately, there's been somewhat of a shift in the camera industry. Some may have noticed, others may have not. But the advent of mobile smart phones (essentially portable pocket computers), coupled with the improvement of camera phones have brought about a whole new world to taking photos and sharing them. Most of my HDR photos are taken with a digital SLR which is still a stand-alone camera. However, mobile smartphone cameras offer two brilliant features that a digital SLR or a digital point and shoot cannot: the ability to apply filters and edit photos on your phone and access to the internet. Both of these features are accessible immediately and do not require you to wait and upload your photo to a computer and eventually the internet to share with your peers. In the future, I believe cameras, computers and phones will be combined into one beautiful hand held device... perhaps it will be called the Iphone? Well done Steve Jobs.
I'll post some of my Iphone camera shots over the next few days and show you some of the interesting features/filters that can be applied to your photos.
